Role Overview
GeeBee Education, a 21-year pioneer in the study abroad space backed by Sequoia, Jungle Ventures, Owl Ventures, and Harvard, is looking for a driven Key Account Manager to strengthen and grow its B2B overseas education partner network in Chennai. This is an individual contributor role with significant autonomy, suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will play a key role in managing existing partnerships, expanding wallet share, and onboarding new B2B partners to drive business growth across your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing B2B overseas education partners to ensure high engagement and satisfaction
- Identify and act on opportunities to increase wallet share with existing partners, working toward defined revenue targets
- Onboard new B2B partners, build strong working relationships, and activate them effectively within the assigned territory
- Develop and execute lead generation and partner acquisition strategies in collaboration with the marketing team
- Provide regular training and product updates to partners to keep them informed and aligned with GeeBee offerings
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve partner issues promptly and ensure a seamless partner experience
- Analyse partner performance metrics regularly and implement improvement strategies where needed
- Report on key performance indicators and share insights and recommendations with senior management
- Stay updated on overseas education market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform business strategy
- Spend approximately 40 percent of time managing existing partners, 20 percent onboarding new partners, 20 percent activating newly onboarded partners, and 20 percent on other business objectives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in any discipline
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in B2B business development, preferably in education or a related sector
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and manage a diverse partner portfolio
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned city or cluster

Requirements
- Proven B2B key account management or business development experience
