Junior 3D Animator - Blender Character Animation

Role Overview XPLO Animation Services Private Limited is hiring a talented Junior 3D Animator with hands-on Blender skills to join their expanding in-house production team in Chennai. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for freshers or candidates with up to one year of experience who are passionate about character animation, movement, and visual storytelling. Candidates with strong portfolios or showreels demonstrating Blender character animation are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities - Create clean, fluid, and visually appealing character animations using Blender - Assist senior animators with camera animation setup and scene layouts - Apply core animation principles including timing, spacing, weight, and natural motion - Collaborate with modelers, rigging artists, and senior animators throughout the production pipeline - Refine and polish animations based on feedback from leads - Maintain consistency and quality across all assigned animation tasks - Adhere to project deadlines and uphold disciplined workflow practices Required Qualifications - Strong working knowledge of Blender with a focus on character animation (mandatory) - Solid understanding of animation fundamentals such as body mechanics and facial animation - Familiarity with keyframing, graph editor tools, and rig controls - Good sense of timing, weight distribution, and movement flow - Degree or diploma in Animation, Multimedia, or a related discipline (preferred but not mandatory) - A portfolio or showreel showcasing animation work is compulsory for consideration - Good spoken Tamil language skills are required Why Join Us XPLO Animation offers freshers a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real-time CGI production pipelines and contribute to live international projects under the mentorship of experienced animation professionals.
