Junior 3D Animator (Blender)

Role Overview XPLO Animation Services Private Limited is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior 3D Animator to join its expanding creative team in Chennai. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity suited for freshers or candidates with up to one year of experience who demonstrate strong Blender character animation skills. A compelling portfolio or showreel is essential to be considered for this role. Key Responsibilities - Create clean, smooth, and visually appealing character animations using Blender - Assist senior animators with camera animation and scene layouts - Apply core animation principles including timing, spacing, weight, and fluid motion - Collaborate closely with senior animators, 3D modelers, and rigging artists - Refine and polish animations based on feedback from leads - Maintain consistency and quality across all assigned animation tasks - Manage assigned workloads efficiently to meet project deadlines Required Qualifications - Hands-on proficiency in Blender with a focus on character animation - Solid understanding of animation fundamentals such as body mechanics and facial animation - Familiarity with keyframing, the graph editor, and rig controls in Blender - Strong sense of timing, weight distribution, and natural movement - A portfolio or showreel showcasing animation work is mandatory - Degree or diploma in Animation, Multimedia, or a related discipline is preferred but not required - Good spoken knowledge of the Tamil language is required - Basic understanding of rendering and lighting is an added advantage Why Join Us Joining XPLO Animation means gaining real-world exposure to live production pipelines, international projects, and the opportunity to learn directly from experienced CGI artists.
