Java Full Stack Developer with AWS

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with AWS expertise to join our Chennai team and contribute to building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, front-end developers, and business stakeholders to deliver robust digital solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, AWS services, and Microservices architecture - Build and consume RESTful APIs and develop UI components using Angular or comparable front-end frameworks - Participate in the full product development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support - Drive technical discussions, evaluate solution approaches, and recommend best practices in an Agile engineering environment - Develop and maintain automated tests including unit, component, integration, and functional test suites - Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve release reliability and deployment velocity - Conduct code and test reviews as an active member of the Scrum team - Own features end-to-end from initial concept through to production deployment Required Qualifications - 6 or more years of hands-on development experience with Java 8 and above - Strong working knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring Framework - Solid understanding of RESTful API design and Microservices architecture - Hands-on experience with Angular and front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Proficiency with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle - Familiarity with Git for source code version control - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Why Join Us At CGI, every professional is treated as a partner and owner from day one, sharing in the collective success of a globally respected firm.
