IT Security Professional

Role Overview CGI, one of the largest independent IT and business consulting firms in the world with over 94,000 professionals globally, is looking for an experienced IT Security Professional to join its team. This role is central to maintaining a strong security and compliance posture across the organisation. You will work closely with global teams, internal stakeholders, and leadership to drive vulnerability management and security incident follow-up. Key Responsibilities - Perform day-to-day security and compliance scans and follow up on remediation activities - Communicate with internal teams to raise security awareness and maintain timely responses - Coordinate with global teams on vulnerability management initiatives - Prepare, analyse, and present security reports to relevant stakeholders - Contribute to the Permanent Control framework by supporting implementation of policies and procedures - Assist with internal audit response activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Support improvements to Production Security tools used for tracking and managing security incidents Required Qualifications - 7 to 9 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 2 to 4 years in IT Security - Mandatory hands-on knowledge of OWASP methodologies - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, preferably with a specialisation in IT Security - Proficiency with security scanning tools such as Qualys, Nexpose, and AppSpider - Good understanding of Kubernetes and containerised environments - Experience working in international and complex financial environments across multiple countries - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts - CEH or other recognised security certifications are a strong advantage - Experience with development languages and scripting is an added advantage Why Join Us At CGI, you are treated as a partner from day one, with a culture built on ownership, teamwork, respect, and belonging.
