Java Cloud Developer

Role Overview BNP Paribas India Solutions is looking for an experienced Java Cloud Developer to join the Data and AI department under the Transversal Analytics Solutions (TAS) team. In this role, you will contribute to designing and maintaining a shared internal platform that powers AI and analytics solutions across more than 30 countries. You will work at the intersection of software development, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture to help BNP Paribas Cardif become a truly analytics-driven organisation. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java-based applications on cloud platforms - Collaborate with cross-functional and DevOps teams to identify project requirements and ensure smooth deployment - Write high-quality, secure, and maintainable code using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks - Participate in code reviews and uphold industry standards for code quality and documentation - Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to resolving infrastructure and application-level problems - Maintain technical documentation including design documents, user manuals, and release notes - Engage in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives - Stay current with the latest advancements in Java, cloud-native technologies, and DevOps practices Required Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development with a Master's degree or equivalent - Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud frameworks - Experience with containerisation using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes - Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or Jenkins - Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and web services - Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and cloud-native services - Comfortable with Linux environments and shell scripting - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Why Join Us BNP Paribas India Solutions offers a dynamic global work environment where innovation and inclusion are at the core of everything we do.
