Job Description

Role Overview Amazon is looking for a skilled IT Support Associate to join the Ops Tech Solutions Delivery team at its Bengaluru corporate office (BLR18). This role is part of the centralized IT Service Desk within OTS Global IT Delivery, supporting Amazon's worldwide operations and Amazon Locker services through an omni-channel contact center model. You will play a key part in ensuring seamless IT operations across Amazon's global sites, directly impacting the company's ability to serve customers efficiently. Key Responsibilities - Provide first-line IT support to internal Amazon customers across APAC, EMEA, and AMER operations, IT teams, and customer support functions - Troubleshoot and resolve end-user device issues including desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners - Support and troubleshoot various operating systems with a focus on Windows and Linux environments - Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in daily support operations - Meet and maintain OTS Service Desk performance targets including Response and Resolution SLAs and CSAT scores - Manage and resolve incidents effectively using ticketing tools in alignment with ITIL best practices - Work a 5-day schedule within a 7-day operational environment with rotational days off based on shift patterns Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification - Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a Service Desk or technical support role - Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with global internal stakeholders - Basic knowledge of IT troubleshooting across end-user devices and operating systems - Familiarity with ITIL-based ticketing tools and network troubleshooting concepts Why Join Us Amazon fosters an inclusive culture where every team member is empowered to deliver their best work and grow professionally. Requirements
