IAM Administrator Okta

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced IAM Administrator with Okta expertise to manage and maintain Identity and Access Management systems across our organization. This role involves overseeing user provisioning, access controls, and security compliance while collaborating with IT, security, and business teams. You will be responsible for ensuring secure and appropriate access to systems, applications, and data while staying current with industry trends and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities - Manage and maintain Identity and Access Management IAM systems including Okta implementation across the organization - Support user provisioning and deprovisioning processes for systems, applications, and data access - Define user roles and manage permissions in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements - Monitor IAM systems for vulnerabilities, security risks, and unusual activity using monitoring tools - Conduct access audits and generate comprehensive IAM reports for compliance and analysis - Respond to access-related incidents and support resolution efforts in a timely manner - Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to ensure secure and appropriate access implementation - Maintain detailed IAM documentation and provide user training on access policies and procedures Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent field - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with IAM concepts including SSO, RBAC, SAML, OAuth, and identity federation - Minimum 1 year of required hands-on experience with Okta platform - Basic networking knowledge including VPN, firewalls, and DNS protocols - Familiarity with system security principles and incident response processes - Experience or coursework in DHCP and security frameworks such as NIST - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with excellent communication abilities Why Join Us Join UST as an IAM Administrator and work with cutting-edge identity and access management technologies in a dynamic IT services environment. - 3+ years hands-on IAM experience with SSO, RBAC, SAML, OAuth, and identity federation - Minimum 1 year hands-on Okta experience required - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT or equivalent - Okta platform expertise - LDAP administration skills - Monitoring tools experience such as Datadog or Splunk - ServiceNow knowledge - JIRA and Confluence familiarity - Basic networking knowledge including VPN, firewalls, DNS - Authentication protocols understanding - System security principles knowledge - Incident response process familiarity - Burp Suite or similar penetration testing tools experience preferred - NIST and security frameworks awareness - Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Task management and deadline meeting ability
