Job Description

Role Overview GE HealthCare is hiring a Graduate Engineering Trainee (Manufacturing Process & Quality) to join our production team in Bengaluru. In this entry-level role, you will support manufacturing line operations, execute quality control procedures, and coordinate equipment calibration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality challenges and implement lean manufacturing practices. Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day manufacturing line operations and resolve assembly line quality concerns - Schedule, execute, and document equipment calibration and maintenance activities - Perform verification and validation testing for production machinery and manufacturing processes - Draft, review, and maintain Device History Records and detailed manufacturing work instructions - Investigate non-conforming materials and coordinate rework processes with suppliers and quality teams - Deliver engineering change communications and train manufacturing operators on process revisions - Execute Poke-Yoke projects, Kaizen initiatives, and lean action workouts to improve line productivity Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree (BE or BTech) in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field - Recent graduate (fresher) or up to one year of experience in manufacturing process or quality control - Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations - Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts, jigs/fixtures design, and Poke-Yoke principles - Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills - Basic proficiency in technical writing and report preparation Why Join Us GE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and diagnostics pioneer. Requirements

- BE or BTech in Mechanical Engineering - Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or quality control - Understanding of QMS, EHS, and lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen, Poke-Yoke, Lean Workouts) - Excellent communication, training, and troubleshooting capabilities - Ability to work onsite in Bengaluru
