Graduate Engineer Trainee - Manufacturing and Materials Planning

Role Overview GE HealthCare is looking for a Graduate Engineer Trainee to join its manufacturing and operations team in Bengaluru. In this role, also referred to as Production Controller on site, you will be responsible for creating and managing Master Production Schedules to ensure output targets are met within available capacity. You will work closely with Flow Leaders and Production Line Managers to drive on-time starts and completions in line with MRP requirements. Key Responsibilities - Generate daily and weekly production schedules aligned with MRP signals - Manage material shortages to maximize clear-to-build status and on-time starts and finishes - Release job cards in accordance with the production plan and act on exception messages - Collaborate with the operations team to commit to realistic output targets - Define daily and weekly production goals and track adherence to the plan - Ensure resources are properly allocated to meet production objectives - Monitor job card data integrity to maintain accurate MRP signals Required Qualifications - Degree level qualification in Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline - Familiarity with MRP systems and production planning environments is an advantage - Proficiency in MS Excel - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure - Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently as well as within a matrix organization - Good organizational skills with the capacity to manage tight schedules Why Join Us GE HealthCare is a globally respected leader in medical technology and healthcare solutions, offering graduates a high-impact learning environment with exposure to world-class manufacturing operations.
