Full Stack Python Developer - Software Engineer III

Role Overview Deloitte is looking for a skilled Full Stack Python Developer at the Software Engineer III level to join its IDT (Innovation, Digital, and Technology) team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade software solutions that drive critical business outcomes. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, translating functional requirements into robust, scalable, and secure applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams spread across global locations. Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain web applications covering both backend and frontend components - Develop and manage production-ready APIs and services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask, including secure authentication and third-party integration patterns - Build responsive and dynamic user-facing features from design specifications using React.js or Angular with TypeScript - Implement automated testing, code quality controls, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and consistent software releases - Collaborate closely with DevOps, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and performant solutions - Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence within the team - Work with PostgreSQL or other relational databases and caching technologies such as Redis - Leverage AI-enabled development tools and explore agentic architectures and frameworks like LangChain Required Qualifications - Minimum 5 years of experience in full stack or backend engineering roles - Hands-on experience building production APIs using Python with FastAPI or Flask - Proficiency in frontend development using React.js or Angular along with TypeScript - Experience with Docker, Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD tools - Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar SQL databases and caching technologies including Redis - Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools and workflows - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline - Preferred experience includes agentic architectures, LangChain, prompt engineering, AI workflow orchestration, Storybook, JFrog, and secrets management tools Why Join Us Deloitte offers a highly inclusive and innovation-driven work culture where professionals are empowered to grow, lead, and make a real impact.
