Role Overview
Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) is hiring a Finance and Accounting Associate to join its growing team at Prabhadevi and Andheri Chakala, Mumbai. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity suited for candidates with 1 to 5 years of experience in core accounting functions. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify invoices, bills, supporting documents, and approval workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Track active and non-active purchase orders and match receipts against corresponding invoices
- Handle client queries related to accounts, payments, and outstanding balances
- Prepare Aging Reports and Allocation Files on a regular basis
- Maintain daily invoice trackers and productivity logs for team reporting
- Post journal entries and accurately record all financial transactions in the system
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities within defined timelines
- Ensure confidentiality and precision in handling all financial records
- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GST, TDS, and Bank Reconciliation processes
Required Qualifications
- Any graduate with a background in commerce or finance preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across email, phone, and in-person interactions
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, GST filings, and general accounting processes
- Sound knowledge of AP, AR, GST, TDS, and Bank Reconciliation
- Strong analytical thinking, time management, and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a proactive and customer-focused approach
- Working knowledge of SAP will be considered an added advantage

Requirements
- Any graduate (commerce or finance background preferred)
- 1 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles

- Strong communication skills in English (email, phone, and in-person)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and time management skills
- SAP knowledge is an added advantage
