Finance Analyst

Role Overview Aptiv is looking for a skilled Finance Analyst to join its regional finance team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will play a central part in coordinating financial planning activities including period-end close, forecasting, annual budgeting, and business planning cycles. You will also mentor and guide junior analysts while collaborating closely with site finance teams, regional non-finance functions, and the global finance organisation. Key Responsibilities - Gather and consolidate weekly risk and opportunity inputs from sites within the region and prepare a unified business unit view for monthly actuals and forecasts - Coordinate, compile, and analyse the Annual Budget process across multiple sites - Work alongside site finance teams to maintain integrated financial data and ensure consistency in reporting standards - Deliver meaningful variance analysis covering Revenue, Material, Manufacturing costs, and Customer or Program profitability - Ensure business unit allocations to individual sites are accurate, well-documented, clearly communicated, and properly actioned - Support the preparation of presentations for close reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and budget discussions - Assist the Commercial Finance function with actuals, forecast data, and budget analysis - Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and contribute to ad-hoc projects aimed at improving report formats - Coach and supervise the work deliverables of the Analyst reporting into this role Required Qualifications - CA, MBA in Finance, or an equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline - Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning - Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint - Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to individuals, teams, and larger groups - Proficient in English - Strong planning and time management skills Why Join Us At Aptiv, you will contribute to cutting-edge automotive technologies that are shaping the future of safer, greener, and more connected mobility.
