Environmental Consultant

Role Overview Crevac Tech Private Limited is looking for an experienced Environmental Consultant to join their Chennai-based team on a full-time basis. The ideal professional will bring 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in environmental consulting, with a thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks, environmental assessment methodologies, and sustainable practices. This role involves working on diverse environmental projects and delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services to clients. Key Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments for various projects across sectors - Prepare detailed environmental reports, impact assessments, and compliance documentation - Develop and implement Environmental Management Systems (EMS) for clients - Ensure all project activities comply with local Indian regulations and international environmental standards - Guide and support clients in meeting sustainability goals and regulatory requirements - Carry out fieldwork, site inspections, and environmental data collection activities - Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver integrated environmental solutions - Monitor updates in environmental legislation, regulations, and industry best practices Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline - 5 to 10 years of professional experience in environmental consulting or a related domain - Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, EIA processes, air dispersion modelling, noise modelling, and hydrodynamic modelling - Hands-on experience with environmental monitoring, compliance audits, and reporting - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in MS Office tools; familiarity with GIS or environmental modelling software is an added advantage - Ability to manage work independently as well as contribute effectively within a team setting - Familiarity with ISO 14001 standards and technical report writing for environmental proposals is preferred Why Join Us Crevac Tech Private Limited offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment where environmental professionals can contribute meaningfully to impactful projects.
