Eagle Developer

Role Overview Cognizant is looking for an Eagle Developer to join its Capital Markets technology team in Chennai. This role involves working on middle and back office implementations with a strong focus on Eagle PACE Suite across various functional modules. You will collaborate with onsite and offshore teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions for global investment and wealth management clients. Key Responsibilities - Understand and support end-to-end middle and back office implementation using Eagle platform - Work on Eagle utilities including Message Center, Eagle IWS (Integrated Workflow Studio), and Eagle ML - Handle Eagle Automation Center, Reference Data Center, Portfolio Data Center, and Reporting Center - Perform Eagle Product Customization, configuration changes, code fixes, and support product upgrade and testing cycles - Develop and maintain solutions using Oracle PL/SQL and optionally Python, Shell Script, PERL, or Java for data processing - Identify gaps in product implementation and recommend best practices and functional design solutions - Manage project integration with surrounding systems and resolve integration challenges - Prepare Specifications, Design, Testing, and Release documentation as per client standards - Perform Unit and System testing and provide support to QA and Release Management teams - Support L2 and L3 production activities as part of Agile delivery teams - Coordinate daily with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth project execution Required Qualifications - Good understanding of Capital Markets domains including Asset and Wealth Management, Asset Servicing, and Investment Banking - Hands-on experience with Eagle utilities and at least one Eagle functional module such as Data Management, Fund Accounting, or Performance Calculation and Attribution - Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming - Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Shell Script, PERL, or Java - Ability to work in Agile methodology and adapt to changing project and client requirements - Strong documentation and communication skills for onsite-offshore coordination Why Join Us Cognizant offers a dynamic and globally connected work environment where you can grow your expertise in Capital Markets technology and work with leading financial institutions.
