Job Description

Role Overview eFocus Instruments India is a fast-growing authorised distributor of test and measurement instruments and zone-based manufacturing consumables, serving 5,000+ customers across Electronics, Automotive, Telecom, Defence, EV, and R&D sectors in South India. As the company's first dedicated marketing hire, you will be the architect of the entire lead generation engine with a mandate to drive 10X growth over five years. This is a high-ownership role where you build the strategy, execute it end-to-end, and are measured on leads and pipeline rather than activity. Key Responsibilities - Own and execute the full SEO strategy including technical audits, keyword research, on-page optimisation, and building 200+ product and landing pages over 18 months - Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns across Google Search, Meta, and LinkedIn targeting buyers in industrial and engineering verticals - Build and manage email drip sequences and WhatsApp broadcast campaigns for the existing 5,000-customer base, segmented by industry, purchase history, and product category - Brief and edit all marketing content using AI tools across LinkedIn, email, ad copy, and product pages, maintaining a consistent monthly content calendar - Design campaign-specific landing pages, own the full conversion funnel from ad click to quote request, and run A/B tests to improve performance - Set up and manage GA4, UTM structures, CRM integration, and a monthly marketing dashboard reporting leads, cost-per-lead, channel ROI, and pipeline - Plan and manage eFocus's presence at 3-4 industry trade events in Year 1 including Productronica India, EV India Expo, and DEFEXPO, handling pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up Required Qualifications - 2 to 5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience with proven campaign execution (not account management) - Demonstrated experience running Google Ads or Meta Ads with measurable lead generation results - Working knowledge of SEO including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and basic technical audits - Proficiency in GA4, UTM parameters, conversion tracking, and dashboard creation - Strong written English suitable for briefing AI tools and editing copy for technical B2B audiences - Fluency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar to accelerate marketing output - Advantage: experience in B2B, industrial, or manufacturing sectors; LinkedIn Ads; email platforms like Mailchimp, Zoho Campaigns, or HubSpot; CRM tools; and landing page builders like Webflow or WordPress Why Join Us This is a rare opportunity to be the founding marketing professional at a company with serious growth ambitions, with full ownership of strategy, budget, and results from day one. Requirements

- 2 to 5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience in campaign execution - Proven Google Ads or Meta Ads experience with measurable lead generation outcomes - SEO skills including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and technical auditing - Proficiency in GA4, UTM parameters, and conversion tracking - Strong written English for B2B technical audiences - AI tool fluency with ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms - Analytical mindset focused on leads, pipeline, and cost-per-acquisition - Ability to work independently as the sole marketing professional - Advantage: B2B or industrial marketing experience - Advantage: LinkedIn Ads, email marketing platforms, CRM tools, and landing page builders
