Cinematographer and Video Editor

Role Overview Ankidyne is looking for a talented and creative Cinematographer and Video Editor to become a part of our in-house Digital Marketing team based in Chromepet, Chennai. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for end-to-end visual content creation, from planning and shooting to editing and publishing compelling videos and photographs across digital platforms. Key Responsibilities - Capture professional-grade product, site, and event photographs and videos for marketing use - Plan and execute both indoor and outdoor shoots including industrial product documentation and project site coverage - Operate cameras, gimbals, lighting rigs, and audio equipment to deliver high-quality visual output - Edit long-form videos, promotional reels, and short-form social media content with precision - Carry out color grading, audio sync, motion graphics, and photo retouching to enhance visual quality - Develop storyboards and creative concepts that support marketing campaigns and brand storytelling - Stay current with evolving social media formats, video trends, and AI-driven editing tools - Work closely with the Marketing team to produce content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives - Travel to project sites and events as needed for on-location shoots Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Photography, Design, or a closely related discipline - 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in videography, photography, and post-production editing - Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom - Practical experience handling DSLR and mirrorless cameras along with lighting setups and gimbals - Creative vision with a sharp eye for detail and visual storytelling - A portfolio or showreel is mandatory and must be submitted with the application Why Join Us Ankidyne offers a dynamic and collaborative creative environment where you will gain exposure to high-end production equipment and work on diverse, exciting projects.
