Cinematographer and Video Editor

Role Overview Ankidyne is hiring a talented and driven Cinematographer and Video Editor to become a key part of our in-house Digital Marketing team based in Chromepet, Chennai. This is a full-time, on-site role that offers you the chance to bring brands to life through compelling visual storytelling across digital platforms. You will work end-to-end on projects, from planning and shooting to editing and final delivery. Key Responsibilities - Capture professional-grade photographs and videos for products, project sites, and live events - Plan and carry out indoor and outdoor shoots including industrial documentation and location-based content - Operate cameras, gimbals, lighting rigs, and audio equipment to ensure high production quality - Edit long-form videos, promotional reels, brand films, and short-form social media content - Perform color grading, audio sync, motion graphics design, and photo retouching to a professional standard - Develop storyboards and creative concepts for marketing campaigns and brand communication - Stay current with social media video trends, emerging formats, and AI-powered editing tools - Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to align visual content with brand guidelines and campaign goals - Travel to project sites and events across locations as required for shoots Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Studies, Photography, Design, or a closely related discipline - 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in videography, photography, and post-production editing - Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom - Practical experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, studio and field lighting setups, and gimbals - A creative eye with sharp attention to detail and a passion for visual storytelling - A portfolio or showreel demonstrating your work is mandatory for consideration Why Join Us At Ankidyne, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of exciting projects in a fast-growing, collaborative environment with access to high-end production equipment.
