Associate Relationship Manager - Affordable Home Loans

Role Overview IDFC FIRST Bank is looking for a driven and customer-focused Associate Relationship Manager to join its Affordable Mortgage Loans division in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are passionate about financial services, field sales, and building lasting client relationships. You will play a key part in expanding the bank's affordable home loan portfolio through proactive customer acquisition, lead conversion, and end-to-end loan processing support. Key Responsibilities - Identify and tap into new market opportunities through on-ground activities such as canopy setups, leaflet distribution, cold calling, and community-level engagement drives - Follow up on leads generated via front-line sales teams, cross-sell channels, and internal or external referral networks in a timely and structured manner - Meet individual targets for income generation, product sales volumes, and new client onboarding as set by the management - Manage the complete customer lifecycle from application login through to loan disbursement, including documentation, counselling, fulfilment coordination, and ongoing handholding during the sanction and disbursal stages - Proactively coordinate with the collections team to prevent EMI defaults and ensure customers do not become non-starters post disbursement - Build and maintain strong local market relationships with builders, business associations, and prospective channel partners to enhance brand visibility and outreach Required Qualifications - Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university - Zero to two years of experience in sales, banking, or financial services - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset - Ability to work independently in a field-based role and meet performance targets - Basic understanding of home loan or mortgage products is an added advantage Why Join Us IDFC FIRST Bank is one of India's fastest-growing private sector banks with a strong focus on customer-centric banking and inclusive finance.
