Associate III Cloud Infrastructure Services

Role Overview The Network Security Engineer is responsible for the operational management, stability, and security of enterprise network security platforms with a primary focus on Fortinet Next-Generation Firewalls and Zscaler cloud security services. This role ensures secure connectivity across on-premises, cloud, and remote access environments through proactive monitoring, lifecycle management, and vendor coordination. You will play a critical role in maintaining enterprise-grade security infrastructure and supporting organizational cloud transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Oversee and enhance the operation of Fortinet NGFW FortiGate and Zscaler ZIA ZPA platforms to ensure availability, performance, and security - Lead and support upgrade, patching, and lifecycle management activities for Fortinet firewalls, Zscaler services, proxies, and IDS IPS capabilities - Coordinate with Fortinet and Zscaler vendors to raise, track, and resolve support tickets efficiently - Monitor health, capacity, and performance of network security appliances and cloud security services - Perform routine hygiene activities including configuration reviews, version compliance checks, policy optimization, and performance tuning Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering or security operations roles - Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet firewall platforms specifically FortiGate - Working knowledge of Zscaler ZIA and or ZPA cloud security services Why Join Us Join UST, a global IT services leader, and contribute to securing enterprise infrastructure for major organizations. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field - 3-5 years hands-on experience in network security engineering or security operations - Strong experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewall platforms - Working knowledge of Zscaler ZIA and ZPA services - Practical experience with firewall policy management, IDS IPS concepts, and proxy technologies - Experience supporting upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management - Familiarity with monitoring, ticketing, and change management processes - Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills - Experience with network security in hybrid or cloud-connected environments preferred - Exposure to SASE, Zero Trust, and ZTNA models preferred - Knowledge of network segmentation and defense-in-depth principles preferred - Fortinet NSE, PCNSE, Zscaler, or CCNP Security certifications preferred
