Associate Architect - DevOps

Role Overview Presidio is a globally recognized technology solutions company driving cloud transformation, AI-powered automation, and next-generation infrastructure for enterprise clients. As an Associate Architect in DevOps, you will take end-to-end ownership of cloud architecture design, cloud migration programs, and DevOps modernization initiatives for large-scale enterprise customers. This is a client-facing technical leadership role within the Presidio Cloud Solutions Group, requiring equal strength in hands-on architecture and stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities - Design and deliver end-to-end AWS cloud architecture solutions for enterprise-scale applications and platforms - Lead cloud migration, modernization, and cloud-native transformation programs from planning through execution - Design and implement AWS Landing Zones, multi-account governance frameworks, and organizational guardrails using AWS Control Tower - Define reusable architecture standards, design patterns, and governance models aligned with AWS Well-Architected principles - Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for provisioning and drift detection - Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps - Architect and support Kubernetes platforms including Amazon EKS and ECS for containerized workloads - Lead cloud security implementation covering IAM governance, network security, encryption, CSPM, and compliance controls - Conduct Well-Architected reviews, security posture assessments, and architecture governance evaluations - Design Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies for enterprise workloads - Drive FinOps and cloud cost optimization initiatives including reporting and utilization governance - Implement observability and monitoring solutions using CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry - Lead architecture workshops, customer-facing solution presentations, and pre-sales solutioning activities - Develop architecture documents, technical designs, solution diagrams, and executive-level presentations - Mentor engineering teams on AWS, DevOps, Kubernetes, and cloud-native best practices Required Qualifications - Mandatory AWS certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, or any AWS Professional or Specialty certification - Strong proficiency in AWS core services including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and Auto Scaling - Hands-on expertise with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure automation - Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and integrating with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or AWS CodeCommit - Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS), and Helm Charts for container orchestration - Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for migration and operational automation - Strong client-facing and consulting communication skills across both technical and executive audiences - Good-to-have: experience with AWS MGN, DMS, Migration Hub, DataSync, or third-party tools like Zerto or CloudEndure - Good-to-have: awareness of MLOps, AI pipelines, and Generative AI infrastructure - Good-to-have: optional certifications in HashiCorp Terraform, CKA, or RedHat OpenShift Why Join Us At Presidio, you will be part of a culture of trailblazers who shape the future through AI-driven analytics, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and next-generation infrastructure.
