Associate Architect - DevOps

Role Overview Presidio is looking for a skilled Associate Architect with a strong DevOps and AWS cloud background to join its growing Cloud Solutions team in Chennai. In this role you will design and deliver enterprise-grade cloud architectures, lead migration and modernisation initiatives, and serve as a trusted technical advisor for clients undergoing digital transformation. You will work at the intersection of cloud engineering, DevOps automation, and client consulting to drive meaningful outcomes for global enterprise customers. Key Responsibilities - Design and own end-to-end AWS cloud architecture solutions for enterprise-scale workloads and platforms - Lead cloud migration, modernisation, and cloud-native transformation programs for enterprise clients - Implement AWS Landing Zones, multi-account governance using AWS Control Tower, and organisational guardrails - Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps - Deploy and manage containerised workloads using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS), Helm Charts, and OpenShift - Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for provisioning and drift detection - Lead cloud security initiatives including IAM governance, encryption, compliance controls, and Security Hub - Design Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies for enterprise workloads - Drive FinOps and cloud cost optimisation, and implement observability using CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus - Engage with enterprise clients to present architecture solutions, lead workshops, and support pre-sales activities - Mentor engineering teams on AWS, DevOps, Kubernetes, and cloud-native best practices Required Qualifications - Proven experience in cloud architecture and DevOps engineering with hands-on AWS expertise - Strong command of core AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and Auto Scaling - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation - Hands-on experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning - Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration - Familiarity with AWS migration tools such as MGN, DMS, SCT, Migration Hub, and DataSync is an advantage - AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) certification is mandatory - Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to present technical strategies to both engineering teams and business executives Why Join Us At Presidio, you will be part of a team of innovators shaping the future through AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and next-generation digital infrastructure. - Hands-on expertise in AWS core services including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFront - Experience designing enterprise cloud architectures aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation - Strong CI/CD pipeline design skills using Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or Azure DevOps - Container and orchestration experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS), and Helm Charts - Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for cloud automation - Knowledge of cloud security practices including IAM least privilege, GuardDuty, and Security Hub - AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification is mandatory - Strong client-facing and stakeholder communication skills - Experience leading cloud migration and modernisation initiatives for enterprise clients - Familiarity with AWS migration tools such as MGN, DMS, SCT, and DataSync is a plus - Exposure to AI-assisted DevOps or MLOps pipelines is an added advantage
