Role Overview
Porter is looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager - HR Programs to join our People and Culture team in Bengaluru. In this high-visibility role, you will work directly with the Director of P&C to organize, track, and operationalize organization-wide people programs. You will serve as the execution engine for cross-functional initiatives like performance management, engagement surveys, and leadership reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and track cross-functional people programs including learning and development, engagement, and HR Business Partner initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive Monthly Review Meetings (MRM) and Monthly Business Review (MBR) presentations by synthesizing raw data into executive-level reports
- Track key organizational people metrics such as attrition, performance scores, and engagement rates
- Manage the design, distribution, and analysis of organization-wide pulse surveys to gather employee feedback
- Coordinate with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and business leaders to align priorities and resolve roadblocks
- Establish robust processes, dashboards, and templates to streamline HR program delivery and internal communications
Required Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with specialization in HR, Strategy, or General Management
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in management consulting, human resources, strategy, or program management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert raw data into actionable insights and clean visualizations
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills to interface across diverse business departments
- Proactive problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of handling ambiguity and moving fast

Requirements
- Post Graduate degree (MBA/PGDM) in HR, Strategy, or General Management, preferably from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in consulting, corporate HR, strategy, or cross-functional program management
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, dashboard creation, and presentation tools
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive-level reporting capability
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive consensus in a matrixed setup
