Job Description

Role Overview Bacardi is looking for a driven and experienced Area Sales Executive for its CSD vertical based in Chennai. This role demands a seasoned sales professional who can lead territory-level strategies, build strong distributor and customer relationships, and deliver consistent financial results. You will be at the forefront of Bacardi's commercial operations in the region, working closely with frontline sales teams and key channel partners. Key Responsibilities - Achieve key financial targets including NSV, Gross Margin, Profitability, ROI, and Value Share - Plan and execute a territory-level sales strategy aligned with the Country Integrated Activity Plan - Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and key channel partners - Guide and mentor frontline sales team members on performance, relationship management, and competitive activity - Develop short-term and long-term regional sales strategies informed by consumer insights and market dynamics - Manage territory budgets, price plans, and brand-pack-channel mix to drive volumes and market share - Coordinate with Excise authorities as and when required - Conduct customer surveys and monitor execution excellence across the territory Required Qualifications - Proven experience in sales leadership roles managing territories or states with P&L accountability - Background in beverages, FMCG, or alco-bev industry preferred; Drinks and Lifestyle category experience is a plus - Strong commercial acumen with understanding of marketing functions and channel strategies - Excellent negotiation skills with hands-on field sales experience - Ability to develop people and build high-performing, diverse teams - Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to make quick, calculated decisions in a dynamic market - Resilient, goal-oriented, and passionate about driving results continuously Why Join Us At Bacardi, you become part of a global family-owned spirits company that values fearless thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, and a culture of belonging. Requirements

- Experience in sales leadership with territory or state-level P&L responsibility - Background in FMCG, beverages, or alco-bev industry - Strong financial acumen including budget management and channel strategy - Excellent negotiation and field sales skills - Ability to mentor and develop frontline sales teams - Consumer-centric mindset with strong relationship-building ability - Entrepreneurial thinking and adaptability to market changes - Familiarity with Excise liaison processes is an advantage
