Architect ATC - ServiceNow Platform

Role Overview Virtusa is looking for a highly experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead technical solutioning, platform strategy, and enterprise-grade implementation for a leading healthcare client. You will be responsible for defining the architectural vision, driving Generative AI adoption through Now Assist, and ensuring all solutions align with business objectives and compliance standards including HIPAA. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end technical solutioning for ServiceNow projects with a focus on ITSM suite design, development, configuration, and deployment - Define and communicate a clear architectural roadmap for the ServiceNow platform aligned with enterprise strategy and business goals - Strategically design, configure, and deploy ServiceNow Now Assist and Generative AI features to enhance agent productivity and self-service capabilities - Conduct code reviews, enforce quality assurance standards, and provide technical mentorship to development teams - Design comprehensive integration architectures connecting ServiceNow with external enterprise systems and optimise data models including CMDB and CSDM - Architect secure, compliant solutions incorporating roles, ACLs, authentication mechanisms, and healthcare regulatory requirements such as HIPAA Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline - Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer and/or Architect - At least 3 years of practical experience implementing and configuring Generative AI features within ServiceNow, particularly Now Assist - Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, design patterns, and best practices - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs - Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a strong innovation mindset - Proven ability to lead technical discussions, influence stakeholders, and drive complex initiatives to successful completion Why Join Us Virtusa offers a dynamic environment where you will work on cutting-edge AI-driven ServiceNow solutions for a major healthcare organisation, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact at scale. - 10+ years of ServiceNow development and architecture experience - 3+ years of Generative AI and Now Assist implementation experience - Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, REST and SOAP APIs - Strong knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, and CSDM within ServiceNow - Experience with integration architecture and data model optimisation - Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA - Leadership and stakeholder communication skills - ServiceNow Certified Master Architect or Certified Technical Architect preferred - ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM preferred
