Angular Developer

Role Overview Citi is looking for a skilled and passionate Angular Developer to join its front-end development team in Chennai. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript - Work closely with UI/UX designers to convert wireframes and mockups into polished front-end code - Implement new product features and improve existing functionality based on business requirements - Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices - Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and alignment with design specifications - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance across browsers and devices - Collaborate with back-end developers to seamlessly integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs - Contribute across all stages of the software development lifecycle from planning through deployment and maintenance - Stay current with evolving trends, frameworks, and best practices in Angular and front-end development Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience - Minimum 3 years of professional front-end development experience with a strong focus on Angular version 2 and above - Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 with Sass or Less experience being an added advantage - Solid command of Angular CLI, components, services, directives, routing, and module architecture - Hands-on experience with state management patterns including NgRx and RxJS - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and version control using Git - Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility standards - Ability to write unit and integration tests for Angular applications - Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills Why Join Us At Citi, you will work on challenging and engaging projects alongside experienced professionals, with access to cutting-edge technologies and meaningful opportunities for career advancement.
