AI Architect - Manager

Role Overview KLA is a globally recognised leader in diversified electronics and semiconductor manufacturing technologies. The IT group at KLA is seeking an experienced AI Architect at the Manager level to define and deliver enterprise-grade AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions while leading and mentoring high-performing technical teams. This is a dual-focus role that blends deep technical leadership with people management, working cross-functionally with engineering, product, platform, and business stakeholders to ship secure, scalable, and production-ready AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities - Define scalable AI, ML, and Generative AI architectures aligned with enterprise standards and business priorities - Guide solutions from early exploration through full production deployment with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability - Coach and develop engineering team members through technical guidance, mentoring, and clear goal setting - Collaborate with product, platform, security, and business partners to translate requirements into practical and well-aligned technical solutions - Promote consistent MLOps and LLMOps practices including automation, monitoring, observability, and responsible AI principles across the delivery lifecycle Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience - Minimum 1 year of experience designing and delivering AI or ML solutions in a production environment - Minimum 2 years of experience leading technical projects and supporting team delivery - Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks and tooling such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LLM APIs - Experience with MLOps and LLMOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, deployment, and observability - Working knowledge of responsible AI practices across the full solution lifecycle Why Join Us KLA invests over 15 percent of its annual sales back into research and development, making it one of the most innovation-driven companies in the semiconductor ecosystem.
