Agri Business Development Executive

Role Overview Dronix Technologies Private Limited, a pioneer in drone-based agricultural solutions, is looking for a motivated and results-oriented Agri Business Development Executive to join their team at Perungalathur, Chennai. This is a full-time, on-site role suited for candidates who can join immediately or within 15 days. The ideal candidate will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting innovative agri-tech services including drone spraying, precision farming, and GIS-based agricultural solutions. Key Responsibilities - Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the agriculture and allied sectors - Promote drone spraying, crop monitoring, precision agriculture, and GIS-based agri solutions to prospective clients - Build and sustain relationships with farmers, FPOs, cooperatives, agri-input companies, NGOs, and government bodies - Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and client requirements in the agri-tech space - Prepare and submit tenders, EOIs, RFPs, RFQs, and bid proposals for agriculture-related projects - Coordinate with technical and operations teams to develop tailored solutions and commercial proposals - Create presentations, business proposals, and marketing collateral for client meetings and project discussions - Conduct field visits, client demonstrations, and awareness programs to promote company services - Monitor government agricultural schemes, subsidies, and relevant tender opportunities - Negotiate commercial terms and support contract finalization - Maintain CRM records, sales pipelines, and business development reports Required Qualifications - 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field - Understanding of agriculture, agri-business, agri-tech, or rural development sectors - Proven experience in tender preparation, bid management, and proposal writing - Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word - Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills - Ability to travel for client meetings and field visits - Knowledge of drone applications in agriculture is highly preferred - Familiarity with government agricultural schemes and procurement processes is an added advantage - Experience with FPOs, farmer groups, cooperatives, or agri-input companies is a plus Why Join Us Dronix Technologies offers an exciting opportunity to be part of one of India's fastest-growing Agri-Tech and Drone Technology companies, with exposure to large-scale government and agricultural projects.
