Accounting and Reporting Analyst - Accounts Payable

Role Overview ABB is looking for a skilled Accounting and Reporting Analyst to join its Intercompany Accounts Payable team in Bengaluru. This is an onsite, full-time role where you will support end-to-end accounts payable operations in alignment with ABB's global financial policies and internal control frameworks. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely vendor invoice processing, and compliance with Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) standards. Key Responsibilities - Perform quality checks on financial reporting data including fluctuation monitoring and variance analysis - Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices with all necessary documentation and approvals in place - Input invoice and payment data into the accounting system with a high degree of accuracy - Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all outstanding payments are accounted for and resolved promptly - Comply with and support ICoFR compliance in the accounts payable team for applicable reporting templates - Participate in internal control testing and prepare relevant supporting documentation - Execute assigned financial analysis and reports and take appropriate action based on findings - Verify invoices for fiscal and internal control compliance and coordinate with stakeholders on progress and issues Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce - 3 to 4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related finance function - Hands-on experience with SAP in Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes is mandatory - Strong understanding of accounts payable transactions, reconciliation, and financial reporting - Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and stakeholders - Flexibility to work in rotational shifts as required Why Join Us At ABB, you will be part of a global organisation that empowers its people to lead, grow, and make a meaningful impact across industries worldwide. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce - 3 to 4 years of experience in accounts payable or P2P domain - Mandatory SAP Accounts Payable and P2P process experience - Knowledge of ICoFR compliance and internal control testing - Vendor invoice processing and statement reconciliation skills - Strong analytical and reporting abilities - Good verbal and written communication skills - Willingness to work in rotational shifts
