Warranty Parts Rework Executive

Role Overview Raptee.HV is a full-stack electric motorcycle startup founded in 2019 by engineers with experience at Tesla and Wipro, focused on building high-performance EV motorcycles. We are looking for a Warranty Parts Rework Executive to lead the in-house refurbishment of warranty-returned EV components including Battery Box, Motor Controller, VCU, HV harness, and PDU. This role is critical to achieving a 90% repair success rate on field failures and building scalable rework processes that save significant costs annually. Key Responsibilities - Receive, diagnose, and rework warranty parts returned from dealers with a target of 90% repair success - Develop and document standard rework SOPs for Battery Box, Motor Controller, and VCU components - Maintain and manage refurbished parts inventory including tracking, certification, and dispatch to dealers - Ensure a turnaround time of under 30 days from part receipt to ready-for-dispatch stock - Conduct daily root cause analysis using 5 Whys and 8D methodologies and share insights with Production and IPQC teams - Work toward reducing repeat failures by 50% each quarter through design and process feedback loops - Collaborate with supplier quality teams to drive improvements at the vendor level - Track and report key metrics including MTBF, cost per failure, and top failure trends via dashboards - Manage, train, and mentor a team of 3 to 10 technicians on EV high-voltage safety and rework procedures - Maintain test rigs including battery cyclers, dynometers, and oscilloscopes - Prepare monthly warranty cost reports for leadership and conduct quarterly dealer rework compliance audits Required Qualifications - Engineering degree in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, or Electronics disciplines - Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive or EV warranty management, rework, or service engineering - Hands-on experience with EV battery systems, motor controllers, and high-voltage safety protocols - Proficiency in RCA tools such as 8D and FMEA - Working knowledge of MS Excel and Power BI for trend analysis and reporting - Demonstrated ability in team management, SOP creation, and vendor coordination Why Join Us Raptee.HV offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you will work alongside industry experts and have real opportunities for professional growth as the company scales.
