Role Overview Hexr Factory is a forward-thinking creative technology company with over a decade of collective expertise in Digital Twins and Immersive Experiences. We are looking for a talented Video Editor with 0 to 3 years of experience to join our full-time team in Chennai. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on story-driven cinematic content, animatics, and digital productions at the cutting edge of creative technology. Key Responsibilities - Edit and deliver high-quality video content from concept through to final output across multiple project types - Create compelling video content using DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects - Review and assemble raw footage, cinematic renders, voice-over files, music, and sound effects into polished final videos - Ensure accurate sync of visuals with dialogues, narration, music, and sound effects in alignment with the intended narrative and emotional tone - Perform color correction, basic grading, audio enhancement, transitions, titling, and subtitle integration - Add and refine on-screen graphics, lower-thirds, callouts, and text overlays as required - Manage multiple simultaneous edits while maintaining version control, correction tracking, and delivery deadlines - Collaborate with creative leads, storyboard artists, 3D teams, production coordinators, and QA teams - Incorporate feedback from internal reviews, client reviews, and QA checks in a structured and timely manner - Organize all project files, footage, audio, renders, and exports in a clean and traceable folder structure - Deliver all outputs in required formats, resolutions, codecs, aspect ratios, and platform specifications - Perform thorough quality checks on final videos for technical issues such as sync errors, black frames, render glitches, and missing assets - Support social media cutdowns, promotional trailers, shorts, and alternate format edits when required - Stay updated with emerging editing workflows, AI-assisted tools, motion graphics trends, and subtitle tools Required Qualifications - Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects - Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, continuity, and audience engagement - Working knowledge of motion graphics, basic compositing, and animation principles - Ability to review and work with Hindi language scripts, voice-overs, subtitles, and on-screen text is strongly preferred - Ability to identify Hindi language, subtitle, and synchronization issues during editing and quality checking is an advantage - Experience managing multiple projects and delivering within defined timelines - Familiarity with sound cleanup tools, subtitle tools, and export quality standards Why Join Us At Hexr Factory, you will be part of a passionate team building immersive virtual experiences and cinematic productions that define the future of digital creativity.
