Vice President - HR Onboarding and Background Verification

Role Overview T D Newton and Associates is seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead its Onboarding and Background Verification function. In this senior leadership role, you will drive the transformation of digital onboarding processes and deliver outstanding employee experiences from day one. You will work at the intersection of technology, operations, and people to ensure seamless, compliant, and scalable onboarding journeys across global teams. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage end-to-end global hiring and onboarding processes to ensure a consistent and positive experience for all new joiners - Oversee the background verification process including vendor management, regulatory compliance, and timely completion of checks - Leverage Workday and ServiceNow platforms to streamline onboarding workflows and improve operational efficiency - Use data-driven insights and analytics to identify gaps, drive continuous improvements, and report on key onboarding metrics - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to influence process design and ensure alignment with business goals - Apply basic AI knowledge and copilot tools to enhance automation and efficiency within onboarding operations - Lead large-scale transformation initiatives focused on process simplification and digital innovation Required Qualifications - Demonstrated experience managing global hiring and onboarding processes at scale - Strong understanding of background screening procedures, vendor governance, and compliance requirements - Hands-on expertise with Workday and ServiceNow applications - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing abilities - Proficiency in using data and metrics to drive operational decisions - Foundational knowledge of AI tools and copilot technologies - Prior experience in the Banking and Financial Services domain is highly desirable - Proven track record in process simplification and managing large-scale HR transformations Why Join Us This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of onboarding at a leading organisation with a global footprint.
