Role Overview BOT VFX is a leading visual effects services company serving a prestigious global clientele. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VFX Editor to join our Chennai team in a full-time permanent capacity. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-senior level professional to work on high-profile international VFX projects within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities - Verify and manage media pulls received from clients to ensure accuracy and completeness - Pack version zero deliverables with correct colour settings and frame ranges as per project requirements - Perform input plate validation against the edit QuickTime reference - Track and chase the latest client updates to ensure the pipeline stays current - Execute retime, reposition, and resize operations in accordance with count sheet specifications - Handle media conversion across various file formats and manage plate down-res tasks - Maintain organised show-wise editorial line-ups throughout the production lifecycle Required Qualifications - Hands-on experience with industry-standard VFX and editorial tools including Nuke, Nuke Studio, DaVinci Resolve, ShotGrid (Shotgun), and Adobe Premiere Pro - Strong understanding of VFX post-production pipelines and editorial workflows - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables in a fast-paced production environment - Good communication skills for coordinating with international clients and internal teams Why Join Us BOT VFX offers an inspiring workplace where talented artists and editors collaborate on world-class visual effects projects for global clients. - Proficiency in Nuke and Nuke Studio - Experience with DaVinci Resolve - Familiarity with ShotGrid (Shotgun) pipeline management - Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro - Understanding of VFX editorial workflows and plate management - Experience with media conversion and file format handling - Ability to perform retime, reposition, and resize operations - Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
