Role Overview
Yext is seeking a customer-focused Technical Support Specialist to join our Technical Support team in Hyderabad. In this post-sale role, you will assist SMB, Partner, and Enterprise clients on the Yext platform by troubleshooting escalated technical issues. This is an exciting opportunity to become a technical expert, work cross-functionally, and support relationships on our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, accurate, and consultative technical support to clients via email, phone, and chat.
- Manage tickets effectively to ensure strict adherence to established SLAs.
- Perform platform configuration, data management, and data analysis services for clients.
- Troubleshoot product and publisher issues, diagnose root causes, and escalate bugs to internal teams.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear instructions for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with Client Success Managers, Platform Services, and Engineering teams to deliver exceptional service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent college-level education or relative work experience.
- One or more years of professional work experience, preferably in customer support or a contact center.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of SQL and ZenDesk being a plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
