Technical Consultant - AI Integration

Role Overview IBM Consulting is looking for a skilled Technical Consultant with a focus on AI Integration to join their growing team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and customising AI-powered solutions that integrate smoothly into enterprise applications and business workflows. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and real-world enterprise needs, helping clients accelerate their hybrid cloud and AI transformation journeys. Key Responsibilities - Develop connectors, build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and configure prompts and guardrails to integrate AI services into enterprise applications - Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to validate requirements, deliver proofs of concept, and prepare solutions for production deployment - Implement observability, performance tuning, and cost optimisation strategies to ensure reliable and scalable AI solutions - Deploy AI services, APIs, and orchestration layers in full compliance with organisational and regulatory standards - Translate solution designs and architectural blueprints into functional, production-ready systems aligned with responsible AI principles Required Qualifications - Hands-on experience integrating AI services and APIs into enterprise applications, including developing connectors and configuring prompts and guardrails - Familiarity with workflow automation, event-driven patterns, and building RAG pipelines with orchestration layers - Exposure to LLMOps practices including performance tuning, observability, and cost optimisation - Experience deploying AI services securely and in compliance with regulatory and organisational standards - Background in working with AI solution designs and architectural blueprints and converting them into working systems - Master's degree preferred Why Join Us At IBM Consulting, you will be part of a globally respected organisation that champions curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning, with access to industry-leading technology, strategic partnerships, and a culture that invests in your long-term career growth.

- API integration experience with AI services and enterprise applications - Experience building RAG pipelines and orchestration layers - Knowledge of workflow automation and event-driven architecture - Exposure to LLMOps practices including observability and performance tuning - Experience with secure and compliant AI service deployment - Ability to translate architectural blueprints into production-ready systems - Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders - Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
