Tableau Administrator

Role Overview Infosys is seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator to manage and maintain Tableau Server and Cloud environments in our Data Analytics Unit. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, availability, security, and governance of the Tableau platform while supporting BI developers and business users across the organization. Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Tableau Server and Cloud environments including nodes, services, and background processes - Monitor server health, optimize performance, manage capacity, and ensure high availability and reliability of the Tableau platform - Configure and manage authentication, authorization, users, groups, permissions, and enforce governance standards for content and data access - Oversee workbooks, data sources, projects, schedules, and manage the lifecycle of dashboards and reports with proper folder structures - Configure and manage data connections, extracts, refresh schedules, and troubleshoot related failures - Provide L2 and L3 support for Tableau-related issues, analyze logs, and resolve performance bottlenecks Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field - 5 to 9 years of overall IT experience with significant hands-on Tableau Administration experience in production environments - Strong proficiency in installing, configuring, and administering Tableau Server and Cloud platforms - Proven experience managing users, groups, permissions, and security policies in Tableau environments - Solid understanding of Tableau extracts, data sources, and scheduling refresh mechanisms - Experience monitoring, tuning, and optimizing Tableau Server performance and resource utilization - Ability to troubleshoot Tableau platform issues using logs and admin views Why Join Us Join Infosys and work with a leading global technology services company on cutting-edge data analytics projects.
