Job Description

Role Overview Thomson Reuters is seeking a Supplier and Contract Management Specialist to oversee our major global third-party supplier contracts in Bengaluru. Operating in a flexible hybrid model, you will act as a subject matter expert and primary escalation point for strategic contracts. You will lead negotiations, resolve disputes, and implement best practices in contract governance to optimize supplier relationships and minimize risk. Key Responsibilities - Manage, draft, redline, and negotiate complex contract amendments, change requests, and terminations. - Lead contract and commercial governance meetings to track deliverables, obligations, and service level agreements. - Resolve major commercial disputes, including unit rates and SLA compliance, while maintaining healthy vendor partnerships. - Conduct price and performance benchmarking to optimize contract costs and prevent commercial leakage. - Collaborate with senior executives to design supplier strategies and support executive business reviews. Required Qualifications - 6 or more years of combined experience in contract management, supplier relationship management, or strategic sourcing. - At least 3 years of direct experience managing global contracts with values exceeding fifteen million dollars. - Advanced negotiation and drafting skills with a strong understanding of legal and business terms. - Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Juris Doctor (JD), LLM, or MBA is highly preferred. - Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to utilize AI tools. Requirements

- Combined 6+ years of experience in contract management, strategic sourcing, or procurement. - At least 3 years of experience managing large-scale global supplier contracts (USD 15M+). - Advanced skills in contract drafting, legal terminology interpretation, and SLA monitoring. - Strong negotiation capability to resolve complex disputes and manage supplier performance. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Professional degree such as LLB, JD, LLM, or MBA is preferred.
