Implementation Specialist

Role Overview As an Implementation Specialist at Thomson Reuters, you will lead customer discovery and technical scoping sessions for e-invoicing solutions in B2B environments. You will act as an application and solution specialist for the e-invoicing platform, making critical configuration decisions aligned to customer requirements and industry best practices. This role requires end-to-end implementation expertise across multiple concurrent customer projects with strong technical and client-facing capabilities. Key Responsibilities - Lead customer discovery and technical scoping sessions for e-invoicing requirements covering B2B, B2G, B2C, AR, AP, and various transaction types including domestic, export, import, and intercompany transactions - Explain country-specific e-invoicing and compliance flows to customers in clear business and technical terms, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions - Act as application and solution specialist for the e-invoicing platform, making configuration decisions aligned to customer requirements and established best practices - Lead integration planning discussions and recommend ERP-to-cloud connectivity approaches such as SFTP, HTTPS, and APIs based on customer constraints and industry standards - Facilitate technical discussions on data formats and structures including XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI, with focus on defining required data elements and mapping needs - Deliver end-to-end implementation workstreams across multiple parallel customer projects while managing timelines and quality standards Required Qualifications - 4-5 years of experience in software implementation, integrations, or configuration in a B2B environment with e-invoicing experience strongly preferred - Working understanding of AR/AP processes and their relationship to invoicing and compliance requirements - Solid understanding of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay business processes and their impact on invoicing and compliance needs - Working knowledge of integration technologies and patterns including APIs, HTTPS, SFTP, web services, and middleware solutions - Familiarity with enterprise data formats and structures such as XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI standards - Strong client-facing communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for both business and IT stakeholders - Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive technical alignment in customer delivery environments Why Join Us Thomson Reuters is a global leader in providing intelligent information and insights to professionals.
