Store Planner

Role Overview Lowe's India is seeking a skilled Store Planner to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for creating store-specific floor plans to support major corporate initiatives and drive maximum ROI and customer experience. You will collaborate closely with Store Operations, Engineering and Construction, Real Estate, and Visual Space Planning teams to design efficient retail spaces. Key Responsibilities - Create and present block plan hand-off packages to the visual space planning team. - Design and develop scope of work plans for major remerchandising projects, resets, and new store layouts. - Develop model layouts when scope of work spans multiple selling departments and stores. - Evaluate designs against productivity metrics to optimize retail space utilization. - Create layouts for check stands, returns desks, customer service areas, and receiving/storage areas. - Distribute new and remerchandised store plans internally at each stage of plan development. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field. - 1 to 2 years of experience in Retail Store Planning and Design. - Proficiency in planning using AutoCAD or industry-related Floor Planning and Macro Space software. - Strong understanding of rack, fixture, and display requirements and facility compatibility. - Solid understanding of store design criteria for each prototype format. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field of study. 1 to 2 years of experience in retail store planning and design. Proficiency in using AutoCAD or industry-related floor planning and macro space software. Thorough understanding of rack, fixture, and display requirements, including ADA requirements. Knowledge of store design criteria for prototype formats and divisional space allocations. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across cross-functional teams.
