Design Architect

Role Overview Khatib and Alami is seeking a talented and experienced Design Architect in Bengaluru to coordinate and refine complex architectural concepts into schematic and detailed designs. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional design specializations and project managers to validate deliverables, conduct value engineering, and manage client feedback. Key Responsibilities - Guide the refinement of selected design options into schematic and detailed final drawings and reports - Coordinate across architectural and engineering disciplines, including structural, mechanical, and environment teams - Collaborate with project managers to review and validate design deliverables with clients and authorities - Work closely with quantity surveying teams to develop detailed tender documents and specifications - Support project planning by estimating man-hours, managing resource allocation, and tracking project schedules - Implement quality control policies and conduct peer reviews on architectural deliverables Required Qualifications - Strong experience in architectural design for large-scale, complex projects - In-depth knowledge of international engineering standards, codes, and global design trends - High proficiency in Revit Architecture, BIM 360, AutoCAD, and MS Office applications - Outstanding leadership, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills - Bachelor's degree in Architecture (a Master's degree is highly preferred) Why Join Us Khatib and Alami is a renowned multinational engineering and design consultancy that offers a platform to work on high-profile global projects. - 4 or more years of professional architectural design experience - Bachelor of Architecture degree (B.Arch) or Master of Architecture (M.Arch) - Practical experience with Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 environments - Solid understanding of international building codes, standards, and engineering coordination - Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in design development and technical execution of complex buildings
