L2 UX Researcher

Role Overview Zebra Technologies is seeking an L2 UX Researcher to join our innovation community in Bengaluru. You will partner closely with product management, design, and engineering teams to support near-term product delivery through rigorous user research and usability evaluations. This role focuses on active development workstreams, helping us reduce product risk and build confidence in execution decisions. Key Responsibilities - Independently plan, conduct, and analyze usability testing and evaluative research across active products and features - Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to support near-term delivery and design decisions - Design comprehensive research plans, test protocols, and success criteria aligned with UX and product requirements - Select appropriate evaluative methods and tools, conducting both moderated and unmoderated usability studies with end users - Translate research findings into clear, actionable design recommendations and trade-offs for immediate implementation Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, HCI, Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field - One to three years of experience conducting UX research, with a strong emphasis on usability testing and evaluative methods - Proven ability to manage evaluative research projects end-to-end, from initial planning through reporting and delivery - Strong collaborative skills, with experience working directly with design and engineering teams in active development cycles - Willingness and ability to travel up to twenty-five percent for in-person usability testing and customer visits Why Join Us At Zebra, we offer a culture of care, collaboration, and learning. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Behavioral Science, or related field - 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience as a UX Researcher, specializing in usability testing and evaluative methods - Demonstrated portfolio showing end-to-end planning, execution, and analysis of user research studies - Proficiency in collaborating with multidisciplinary product teams using Agile workflows - Experience with remote usability testing platforms (e.g., UserZoom) and prototyping tools like Figma is preferred - Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate research insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Ability to travel up to 25% for on-site research and customer collaboration
