State Trade Marketing Lead

Role Overview The HEINEKEN Company is seeking a State Trade Marketing Lead (Trade Marketing Champion) to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will plan, execute, and monitor trade marketing activities for the UBL brand portfolio to win at the points of sale. You will collaborate closely with regional sales teams, finance, and external vendors to drive product visibility and ensure compliance with state regulations. Key Responsibilities - Co-create and execute state-level trade marketing plans in alignment with sales teams and the Regional Marketing Manager - Manage outlet execution and visibility standards (PICOS) across on-trade and off-trade channels, working with sales and external agencies - Oversee the distribution and utilization of brand merchandise and sales assets, ensuring visicoolers and displays are deployed effectively - Lead vendor onboarding and management, securing approvals, negotiating prices, and managing procurement budgets and SLAs - Track trade marketing budgets, coordinate timely purchase order creation, and manage invoicing processes with the finance team Required Qualifications - MBA or PGDM in Marketing or a related field from a recognized institution - Three or more years of experience in sales, trade marketing, or retail branding, preferably in the alcobev or FMCG sector - Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of handling manpower and event agencies - High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical capabilities to interpret sales and visibility data - Excellent communication, coordination, and multitasking skills with a high degree of operational agility Why Join Us At HEINEKEN, you will be part of a global beverage leader with an iconic brand portfolio and a culture that values ambition and connection. - MBA or PGDM in Marketing or Business Administration - 3+ years of professional experience in Sales or Trade Marketing, ideally within the Alco-Bev or FMCG industry - Deep understanding of market operating models, trade channels, and sales processes - Strong vendor management, procurement negotiation, and agency coordination experience - Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for data collation and reporting - Sound knowledge of compliance guidelines and excise regulations in the state - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
