Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities As a Staff Nurse at AHLL, you will be at the forefront of patient care delivery within the outpatient and clinical setting. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism in line with the organisation's Namaste culture, preparing examination rooms with sterile instruments and adequate supplies, and assisting physicians during consultations, minor procedures, and diagnostic evaluations. You will conduct specified laboratory tests, administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing standards, and monitor patient vitals including BP and BMI. You will also support vaccination drives, perform wound dressings and bandaging, and ensure mandatory nursing presence during procedures such as endoscopy, gynaecological examinations, paediatric care, orthopaedic consultations, and surgical support. Maintaining accurate patient records, handling telephone enquiries, coordinating specialist referrals and appointment scheduling, and managing consent forms and day sheets will also form a core part of your responsibilities. Required Qualifications Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) or a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma from a recognised institution. A valid nursing registration is required. Applicants should have a sound understanding of nursing protocols, OPD workflows, patient confidentiality norms, and first aid procedures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective patient and team coordination. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) or GNM diploma from a recognised institution Valid nursing registration with the relevant state nursing council 0 to 5 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting Proficiency in patient care, OPD procedures, dressing, and wound management Knowledge of vaccination protocols, injection administration, and vital sign monitoring Ability to assist physicians during examinations, minor operations, and diagnostic procedures Familiarity with maintaining patient records, registers, and confidentiality standards Experience or willingness to work in specialties including gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, and surgical support Strong communication skills for coordinating with patients, doctors, and administrative staff Ability to handle telephone enquiries and coordinate specialist referrals and lab requests
