Sr Manager - Customer Interaction Suite (CpaaS Product Owner)

Role Overview Tata Communications is looking for a seasoned Product Owner to lead the Configuration and Provisioning service within the kaleyra.io CpaaS platform, under the Customer Interaction Suite (CIS) business unit. This is a mid-senior level, full-time opportunity based in Chennai where you will act as the critical bridge between product strategy and engineering execution. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders such as Billing, Finance, and Operations to deliver a high-quality, scalable CpaaS platform. Key Responsibilities - Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-prioritized, refined, and aligned with overall business goals and roadmap - Translate high-level product strategy into clear user stories in BDD format, detailed acceptance criteria, and actionable engineering tasks - Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint review ceremonies with cross-functional engineering and design teams - Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria and user expectations before production deployment - Collaborate with other Product Owners and Product Managers across kaleyra.io core services and channel teams - Monitor release plans, track delivery KPIs, and proactively raise flags for blockers or delays - Support UAT activities and provide final sign-off on sprint output - Manage integrations involving SSO, account management, authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and BSS/OSS systems Required Qualifications - Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager for a CpaaS or SaaS product - Minimum 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience working directly with engineering teams to provide feature priorities and delivery clarity - Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and end-to-end product lifecycle management - Demonstrated experience in acceptance criteria definition, validation, and backlog management - Proficiency with the Atlassian suite including Jira and Confluence - Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide product decisions - Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences Why Join Us At Tata Communications, you will be part of a globally recognized organization redefining connectivity through Cloud, IoT, Security, and next-generation communication platforms.
