Role Overview DevX is seeking a Software Development Engineer II (SDE 2) to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will operate as an independent engineer owning moderately complex systems and features end-to-end, driving both high-level design and implementation. Key Responsibilities - Own and build moderately complex software modules and services from technical design through deployment and maintenance. - Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust, production-grade technical solutions. - Create detailed low-level designs and make technical tradeoffs regarding scalability, database schemas, APIs, and performance. - Participate in technical design reviews, championing code quality and best development practices. Required Qualifications - Strong experience in software development, operating independently to design, build, and deploy production-grade services. - Proficiency in API design, database schema modeling, caching strategies, and service interactions. - Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a strong understanding of low-level system designs.
