ServiceNow CMDB L3 Associate

Role Overview AceStack is looking for a highly experienced ServiceNow CMDB L3 Associate to join its team in Chennai on a contract basis. This is a senior-level, face-to-face interview role requiring deep expertise in ServiceNow CMDB architecture, governance, and platform engineering. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary escalation point for complex CMDB challenges and drive enterprise-wide data quality and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end CMDB architecture within ServiceNow, including CI class models, relationships, and lifecycle standards - Define and enforce CMDB governance policies, best practices, and compliance frameworks - Architect and optimise ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping, including identification and reconciliation rules across multiple data sources - Lead integrations with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with on-premises and third-party tools - Troubleshoot advanced discovery failures, pattern issues, and credential-related problems - Drive CMDB data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through audits, normalization, deduplication, and lifecycle automation - Define and monitor CMDB health KPIs and dashboards to ensure ongoing compliance - Develop and review advanced CMDB configurations and scripts using JavaScript and the Glide API - Lead platform upgrades, patches, and regression testing related to CMDB - Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, platform owners, and leadership on CMDB strategy - Support major incident resolution, problem management, and root cause analysis activities - Mentor junior team members and review CMDB changes for quality and compliance Required Qualifications - Expert-level hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB - Strong expertise in ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management - Deep knowledge of CI classes, relationships, and identification and reconciliation rules - Advanced scripting skills in JavaScript, Script Includes, and Glide API within ServiceNow - Solid understanding of ITIL Configuration Management and ITSM processes - Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as SCCM, SNMP, and MID Servers - Experience working with Azure cloud environments - Preferred certifications include ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in CMDB, ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, ServiceNow System Administrator or Application Developer, and ITIL Foundation or above - Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and analytical problem-solving skills - Ability to operate effectively in complex, large-scale enterprise environments Why Join Us AceStack offers a high-impact contract opportunity where you will work on cutting-edge enterprise CMDB transformation projects and collaborate with cross-functional architecture and DevOps teams.
