Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 L3 Subject Matter Expert

Role Overview AceStack is looking for a highly skilled Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 L3 SME for a contract engagement based exclusively in Chennai. This is a face-to-face interview requirement and the selected candidate will serve as a senior-level technical expert responsible for managing and optimising cloud-based virtual desktop infrastructure across enterprise environments. The role demands deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, virtualisation technologies, identity management, and IT service operations. Key Responsibilities - Administer and manage Windows 365 Cloud PCs and Azure Virtual Desktop environments including provisioning, configuration, and ongoing maintenance - Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure components such as virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups - Integrate identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid Active Directory environments with support for Conditional Access, RBAC, SSO, and MFA - Implement and oversee endpoint security policies using Microsoft Defender and Intune along with patch management and enterprise compliance baselines - Provide L2 and L3 technical support for Cloud PC access issues, performance bottlenecks, and application compatibility challenges with thorough Root Cause Analysis - Optimise user experience through performance tuning, FSLogix profile management, and application delivery and image lifecycle management - Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and Azure Automation and manage backup, disaster recovery, and scaling strategies - Maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and architecture documentation while adhering to ITIL processes covering Incident, Problem, and Change Management Required Qualifications - Proven L3 level experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 administration - Strong working knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure networking components - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid AD, Conditional Access, and RBAC - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Azure Automation for operational tasks - Familiarity with FSLogix profiles, image management, and VDI performance optimisation - Solid understanding of ITIL-based service management processes - Ability to attend a face-to-face interview in Chennai and work on-site Why Join Us AceStack offers an exciting contract opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud virtualisation projects with enterprise-scale impact.
