ServiceNow CMDB Asset Management Specialist - Manager

Role Overview State Street is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Asset Management Specialist at the Manager level to join its Global Technology Services team in Hyderabad. This critical role is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle, accuracy, and integrity of IT asset and configuration data within the ServiceNow CMDB platform. The specialist will work in alignment with ITIL standards to enable reliable IT operations, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities - Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Configuration Items and IT assets within the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency - Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, solution architects, and integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between CMDB, discovery tools, and external systems - Monitor, analyze, and report on CMDB health metrics including completeness, correctness, and compliance, and lead remediation efforts to address identified gaps - Support ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and system integrations to enable accurate and automated population of CI and asset data - Ensure CMDB processes and data meet audit, risk, security, and regulatory requirements - Drive Foundation Data and CSDM initiatives in close coordination with platform owners and service teams Required Qualifications - Minimum 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, CMDB, IT Asset Management, or related ITSM functions - Strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB including CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, and normalization - Proven experience supporting IT Asset Management and Configuration Management processes aligned with ITIL standards - Working knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and system integrations including APIs, data imports, and third-party tools - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and process improvement - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or other ServiceNow certifications preferred - ITIL v3 or v4 certification with advanced understanding of best practices is an advantage - Familiarity with cloud platforms, hybrid infrastructure, and modern IT operations models is a plus Why Join Us State Street offers a collaborative global environment where technology skills and innovation are highly valued, along with competitive benefits, flexible work programs, and strong opportunities for professional growth.
