Senior Specialist

Role Overview Sun Life is hiring a Senior Specialist in Strategic Sourcing - Non-IT to join our global procurement team based in Gurugram. You will drive commercial value by managing tactical sourcing projects for marketing, consulting, human resources, and insurance services. This role is a great opportunity to apply your contract negotiation skills and collaborate with diverse international teams. Key Responsibilities - Greet vendors, manage check-in/out protocols, and verify their compliance tags - Assist business stakeholders through the complete procurement lifecycle from request to contract signing - Lead contract reviews, draft terms, and lead negotiations to secure favorable commercial agreements - Support third-party risk management, AML compliance, and financial checks for corporate vendors - Utilize project management techniques to plan, execute, and monitor sourcing workflows - Perform spend analysis, data gathering, and data cleansing to support strategic decisions - Consult with internal legal counsel and risk departments to align procurement contracts with corporate policy - Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for tactical procurement operations Required Qualifications - Five or more years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience - Proven competency in data collection, cleaning, and financial analysis - Extensive experience managing sourcing projects, contract negotiations, and vendor relations - Strong understanding of procurement challenges, legal terms, and contract structures - Experience working with SAP Ariba Contracts and Sourcing Modules - Strong English communication skills with the capability to manage client relationships Why Join Us We provide a dynamic workplace where employees are challenged to grow and reach their full potential.
