Senior Specialist

Role Overview Sun Life is looking for a Senior Specialist in Strategic Sourcing - Non-IT to support our procurement operations in Gurugram. You will be responsible for handling tactical purchases for group insurance, consulting, marketing, human resources, and other non-IT categories. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate the end-to-end sourcing process for high-volume, low-risk non-IT spend categories - Partner with internal business units to identify sourcing requirements and define purchasing strategies - Lead contract negotiations and execute formal agreements to ensure commercial value and risk mitigation - Guide internal clients through third-party risk management, AML screening, and financial viability reviews - Apply project management best practices to ensure sourcing initiatives are completed on schedule - Perform data collection, data cleansing, and detailed financial analysis to support purchasing decisions - Collaborate closely with internal legal counsel, compliance, and security departments on contract approvals - Drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains across various non-IT procurement workflows Required Qualifications - Five or more years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement roles - Hands-on expertise with data extraction, cleansing, and analytical modeling - Strong experience in commercial deal management, vendor reviews, and contract negotiations - Proficient understanding of contract terms, vendor language, and procurement strategies - Knowledge of SAP Ariba Contracts and Sourcing Modules - Excellent English communication and client relationship management skills Why Join Us At Sun Life, we empower you to be your best self by working alongside experts who share their knowledge.
